In a recent survey conducted by Man Of The House, as many as 80 percent of men said that Mother's Day gets more attention than Father's Day even if many dads deserve equal praise. That's right. Many dads have stepped up their game. As many as 60 percent of men surveyed say they share child care equally. And many of them have taken on what used to be traditional homemaker jobs (laundry and mopping) while still juggling traditional male-oriented jobs (car and yard work).
You could make this Father's Day different. More than half of the men surveyed in the same study said that spending time with their children is among their top priorities. They are looking for experiences that they can share and remember.
Three Ways To Make Father's Day Memorable From Las Vegas
• Longest ATV Tour In Las Vegas. Most dirt bike adventures require a certain skill level to navigate the desert, but ATV tours do not. TourGuy.com recently picked up the longest ride in Southern Nevada, covering 20 to over 50 miles of desert terrain, depending on group size and riding abilities. The entire tour time is a full six hours and starts at 8 a.m. to avoid the harshest summer heat (which is later in the day). The only limitation is that participants must be ages 16 or more. Gloves, googles, and helmets are all provided.
• Wild West Horseback Ride In Las Vegas. Head out to the famous Sandy Valley Ranch as seen on The Travel Channel and The Food Channel for an experience reminiscent of the movie City Slickers. Expert and beginning riders are welcome. What is especially unique about the sunset ride is that it includes one-on-one instruction on how to herd and pen cattle. The evening ride finishes up with a campfire and barbecue dinner.
• Ride High About Las Vegas In A Helicopter. In what might be the perfect high-tech adventure, TourGuy.com is a leader in booking helicopter flights over the Las Vegas skyline. The 12- to 15-minute flight takes you as close to the iconic Las Vegas sites as possible after a champagne toast. The ECO-Star is the most advanced state-of-the-art helicopter of its kind. It's known for a quieter ride, great views, and large cabin. While certainly the shortest tour that can be enjoyed while visiting Las Vegas, the Vegas Neon Lights flight is one of the most memorable.
