TourGuy.com Creates Las Vegas Horseback Handbook

In an effort to make choosing area tours easier, TourGuy.com is developing a series of interest-specific adventure and ecotour PDFs to help travelers get more out of Las Vegas. The first handbook, Las Vegas Horseback Handbook, summarizes three area tours within proximity to Las Vegas: Red Rock Canyon, Great Basin, and Grand Canyon.

"Horseback riding in the Great Basin and Mojave Desert is becoming increasingly popular and the most common question we're asked by our customers is what is the difference between the three horseback tours we offer," said James Hoke, president of TourGuy.com LLC. "So we developed a very simple four-page horseback primer that provides a brief overview of each tour."

In addition to brief overviews, the guide also includes a short article about the American West, suggestions of what to wear, and direct links to additional resources on the Web. The file is online and may be downloaded.

"We recognize that people enjoy finding information on the Internet in different ways," said Hoke. "Online publications offer versatility in that they can be downloaded, printed, bookmarked, emailed, and shared in a variety of ways that traditional brochures never could. And, with links, they help reorganize content, making the document interactive."

As people who are curious about horseback riding in Las Vegas review the document, clicking some links will direct them to an online reservation page with more details, photos, customer reviews, and videos. The videos of various area tours are among several reasons that TourGuy.com has become the fastest-growing tour company in the area.

"The more we can find ways to help people see the various experiences, the more likely they will begin to see Las Vegas as much more than the legendary Strip," said Hoke. "I love the Las Vegas Strip, but I'm also an outdoorsman. I think many people are."

Most excursions offered through TourGuy.com include complimentary pick-up and drop-off from Strip hotels. For reservations and other Las Vegas attractions, visit the site or call toll free 1-888-801-1575. Tours range from one and a half hours to two days. Group tour arrangements are also available.
